Hui Wa'a O' Wakinikona Gearing up for Green Lake Regatta


Our Hui Wa'a o' Wakinikona hosts a Green Lake Regatta every Memorial Day weekend in Downtown Seattle. It's a must to see and participate in.

Our Hui Wa'a will be conducting a raffle of items and welcome donations for the raffle. Looking for crafted items, gift cards, and any kind interesting stuff to assist with this major fundraiser! Please bring all donated items to the May 21st Meeting in Seatac or Saturday, May 28th at Green Lake by 9 am.

Wakinikona Hawaiian Artifacts Needed for Display


Wakinikona is requesting that members collectively display a traditional hawaiian home museum setting at Carco Theatre, Thursday, July 14, 2011 . Our display will be in the lobby as Aloha 'O Na Kupuna Music & Dance festival host a special concert, "Kaua'i in my Heart" by Nathan Kalama.

Lets get these items in order and bring a list of what you are willing to share with the greater pacific northwest. All items will be protected and roped off as it will be Kapu to touch!

Bring a list next meeting , Saturday May 21st.
