Arnie Ching's Passing *Sad News*

Aloha kakou— Arnie Ching unexpectedly passed away earlier this week, and his viewing is scheduled for tomorrow, Feb 10 from 2 to 5 PM at Yarington Funeral Home in White Center. Please relay to other members of the Wakinikona Hawaiian Club that you know may have known Arnie. He was a long time member of WHC, a loving husband and father, a fisherman, a retired postman, whose posting was at the Tripler Army Hospital post office. Hope some of you can make it tomorrow.

When we had the summer festival, he always did the teriyaki chicken entree and was quick to start washing pots and pans, -- an excellent worked and a joy to be around" --- posted by Stan Dahlin

I was deeply saddened to hear about Arnie! I always looked forward to seeing him at meetings and Wakinikona events. He actively worked at physically rehabilitating himself following shoulder surgery and was just an energetic and interesting man! Plus he laughed at all my silly jokes...I will miss his smiling face and warmth! Aloha 'oe, Arnie...We will hold Delores for you. --- posted by Anne Dahlin
